Fiorella Sunset is coming to the building previously occupied by the now-shuttered Park Chow, at 1240 9th Avenue.  As noted in an article published in the San Francisco edition of Eater.com, this location is uniquely personal to co-owner Boris Nemchenok as it was the location of the first restaurant his parents visited after they immigrated to the U.S. from Latvia in 1983. 

We are in the process of renovating the ground floor and the enclosed upstairs dining space and hope to open in late summer when all the improvements to the interior spaces are completed.

The goal is for the entire restaurant including the outdoor space, open at the same time, but that will be dependent upon acquiring the Conditional Use Authorization from the San Francisco Planning Commission to operate the outdoor space.
